Marriage Counseling

Introduction

If you’re struggling in a marriage or committed relationship, that’s okay. It’s not a sign that there’s trouble, it’s just a sign that you need to get to work. With more couples spending increased amounts of time together due to the coronavirus crisis, it's only natural that it would put a strain on the relationship.

Relationships certainly are hard work, and they are also the things that bring meaning, joy, and fulfillment to our lives.  What many people don’t understand is that relationships also take a lot of work to maintain.

As with any challenge in life, sometimes you need a little help building and maintaining a healthy, productive, and meaningful relationship.

How do we start our Marriage Counseling?

First, either partner would need to call us to make an appointment or follow the information given on the bottom of this page. Then they would need to bring all necessary documents from your referring agency, whether it be Court, DCFS, Probation Department self-referred.

What does it cost for the program?

It will consist of a $50 intake fee at time of registration and $45 per group session which would come to the total of $95 upon intake if you are attending your first session on that day. We are sorry, we do not accept insurance of any kind.

How long is the program?

The program consists of a minimum of 12, 55 minute sessions in all, unless the referring agency says different or if self-referred. However, we do provide classes for any length of time if needed. Walk-ins are welcome.

When are sessions given?

Sessions are whenever agreed upon between couple and counselor. However, if you are 10 minutes late, the session will be canceled, and you will not receive credit for that session.

Will I receive a certificate of complete when I finish the program?

Yes, the couple will receive a letter and certificate of completion on the last day of your program. However, if they have a balance due and have not paid it, they will not receive a letter or certificate of completion until your balance is paid in full.

How to Register for sessions?

If you would like to register sessions, please call us at 323-246-4990 or 323-412-6069 or leave us a text that you would like to register for sessions. We will get back to you.

Attention!

No one is allowed to arrive to the session under the influence of any drugs including alcohol and marijuana. (You may be TERMINATED immediately)
