Participation in these classes is a mutual endeavor to which the facilitator contributes knowledge and skills in teen parenting to which you, the participant, bring specialized personal knowledge and a commitment to work on your own problems. The goals of our parenting class include but are not limited to increasing communication and stress management skills, and practicing emotional intelligence. General goals include promoting a greater unconditional love for your child, motivations, behavior and interactions with family members. This awareness and understanding will hopefully promote clarification of personal goals, family values and priorities and enable you to cope with family situations in a more directed and fulfilling manner. The results of participating in this program are not guaranteed. Your participation may lead to results that were not originally intended.
First you will need to call us to make an appointment or follow the information given on the bottom of this page. Then you would need to bring all necessary documents from your referring agency, whether it be Court, DCFS or Probation department.
It will consist of a $30 intake fee at time of registration and $20 per group session which would come to the total of $50 upon intake if you are attending your first class on that day. The program can be either 12 or 24 classes in duration. We are sorry, we do not accept insurance of any kind.
Group sessions are held on Mondays from 4:pm. to 5:pm.. If you are 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed in class.
Yes, you will receive a letter and certificate of completion on the last day of the program. However, if you have a balance due and have not paid it, you will not receive neither a letter or certificate of completion until you balance if paid in full.
No one is allowed in class under the influence of any drugs including alcohol and marijuana. (You may ask to submit a urine test if you fill that you are sober on your own expense. If you test positive, you may be TERMINATED immediately)
